Building Bridges to Islam

Building Bridges to Islam

Islam is one of the fastest growing religions in the world, yet it is often perplexing to outsiders. Is the image of Muslims we see in the media the true face of Islam? What is it like to be a Muslim in the United States today?

The Ambassador Program

Elderhostel’s volunteer speakers bureau, the Ambassador Program,  offers informational presentations by avid Elderhostelers about our organization.

The Alumni Association

Local Elderhostel Alumni Groups

bring Elderhostelers together in their communities to share Elderhostel experiences and promote lifelong learning opportunities.

The Elderhostel Institute Network The Elderhostel Institute Network

is a voluntary association of more than 300 Lifelong Learning Institutes across North America.

We address these questions and many more in a series of programs titled “Building Bridges to Islam.” Working in collaboration with leading universities, mosques, Islamic cultural centers and other organizations, Elderhostel is offering “Building Bridges to Islam” programs in cities across the United States.
